At Coakley Home and Hardware, we only carry products that we believe in, which is why we offer our customers KraftMaid and Starmark cabinetry. The only limitation for sizes, styles, and finishes is your imagination. Cabinet doors can be customized to your style including wood finish, glass, or painted. The two logos to the right link to the manufacturer's websites and will give you more ideas on what is possible.
The helpful staff at Coakley Home and Hardware can help you every step of the way. We will come out to your place, measure your kitchen, identify your needs, and then develop computer aided designs to help you see a 3 dimensional view of your ideas. Once we have a design that is both functional and beautiful, we'll help you pick out cabinets that fit your personal style, and place the order.
We have the sink that matches the overall kitchen project decor. The farmhouse, undermount, double, and stainless steel images above are just a taste of what we have for you. Perhaps you are looking for an antique copper look - we have that. Maybe you want something more contemporary - we have that.
Brass, stainless steel, curved neck, touchless, whatever you need for your kitchen faucets, our helpful staff will help you find the right solution. For a unified look, choose a style and finish that matches your new or existing kitchen cabinet hardware. Not sure what you're looking for, stop into Coakley Home and Hardware, and our experienced staff will help get you started.
Storage, counter space, seating, prep station - a kitchen island can be all these things and more. These versatile kitchen island ideas can be modified to suit your needs. Are you a baker? Choose a kitchen island or cart that can be outfitted with bins for your supplies. Is storage your main concern? Select a kitchen island with deep drawers and slide-out shelving that transforms dead space into usable storage solutions. Because of its usual location in the center of the kitchen, the island becomes a natural focal point. It makes sense, then, to choose an island that accents your kitchen's decor. Kitchen islands with cabinets to match your kitchen design are always a safe choice. Add a high-low countertop to distinguish the eating area from prep space. Or, position the sink or cooktop on the island to create a stand-alone workstation. Another option is to think outside the box by considering a freestanding island, such as an antique table or a restaurant-grade cart. Consider the size and layout of your kitchen when determining the dimensions of your island. Even small kitchen islands can add function and additional storage.
Your countertop is an integral part of your kitchen remodel and Coakley Home and Hardware has a complete line of products for just the right look for your budget. You may want to update your kitchen by simply changing your countertops.
Laminates - Laminate countertops come in a wide range of colors and patterns and are easily maintained. They are durable and inexpensive in the world of countertops. However, laminates may scratch and/or chip in time and repairs are hard to make. We carry Formica and Wilsonart laminate tops.
Solid Surface - As the name indicates, solid surface countertops are solid all the way through making it possible to sand out any scratches that may occur. These tops come in an array of colors and looks and many patterns can be installed to appear seamless. Solid surface is more expensive. We carry Corian, LG, Wilsonart, and Livingstone.
Quartz - Quartz or engineered stone has become a very popular countertop. It is easy to care for, is stain resistant, and it's non-porous surface resists scratches. Quartz usually prices out higher than solid surface. Cambria quartz is available in many beautiful colors. We also have Zodiaq and Viatera available.
Granite - Granite has become a very popular choice for countertops because it is both durable and beautiful. However the quality of granite does come with a high price. Colors are more limited than quartz and granite requires regular maintenance.
"I went to Coakley's yesterday and, as usual, my experience was very positive. The screen I had taken there for repair was ready to be picked up and the work was impeccable. I was also looking for a specific screw to reattach a handle on my kitchen cabinet, and the very helpful assistant found exactly what I needed in a couple of minutes. I don't think you can beat Coakley's for quality and customer assistance." - Ingrid
"If you are looking for unparalleled customer service and patience in the Adirondack area, look no further. It is a big investment of time to design a kitchen and Carol never blinked during our first three-hour meeting. Over the nine months that followed during my new construction project, Carol was always cheerful and adaptable, something that she didn't have to learn. She was obviously born with those qualities." - Happy Customer
